A (Capitalist) Manifesto for Sports Consumers (Redwood City, CA , 2008; online edn, Stanford Scholarship Online, 20 June 2013), https://doi.org/10.11126/stanford/9780804756686.003.0006, accessed 18 Apr. 2024.
Abstract
This chapter provides an in-depth explanation of how the two proposals that were forwarded in the previous chapters would work. These two proposals center on entry by merit and separation of the organization of tournaments from participation in the contests. This chapter also addresses some implications of the present claim and the practical problems that the proposals would encounter.
