This chapter examines the ways that grassroots leaders remain resilient in the face of costs and risks, and the difficulties in tapping into sources of resiliency. Grassroots faculty and staff leaders shared a variety of approaches that they used for remaining resilient, organized around extrinsic and intrinsic approaches of resiliency.
