Stanford Scholarship Online publishes new books

Seven new books are now available on Stanford Scholarship Online (SSO), adding to the History, Literature, and Society and Culture modules.
These books cover a diverse range of subjects, from the colleges established by the Franciscan Order in New Spain to the Cold War in Brazil, and from the literary legacy of the War on Poverty to the French conquest of Algeria recounted through the exploration of the world of Oran’s influential Jewish merchants.
